1. Acceptance
By using the Qorbit Systems platform or purchasing Qorbit hardware, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Service Description
Qorbit Systems provides a flight computer (Qorbit Core) and a companion web platform for flight analysis, simulation, pre-flight checklists, and team collaboration. The platform is offered in Free and Pro tiers.
3. Hardware Disclaimer
Qorbit Core is designed as a secondary recovery device. It is not intended to replace your primary altimeter or any competition-required equipment. Model rocketry involves inherent risk. Qorbit Systems is not liable for damage to rockets, equipment, or property resulting from use of our products. Always follow NAR, Tripoli, and local safety codes.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $9.99/month. School subscriptions are billed at $1,500 per 9-month term. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your plan reverts to Free at the end of the billing period. Flight history is retained on the Free tier but subject to monthly analysis limits.
5. Refunds
Software subscription payments are non-refundable once the billing period has begun. If you cancel, you retain access through the end of your current billing period. Hardware refunds are available within 30 days of delivery for unused, undamaged units. Contact hello@qorbit.com for hardware return requests.
6. Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users between 13 and 18 must have permission from a parent, guardian, or school advisor. School plan accounts are managed by an authorized educator.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of all flight data, simulation configurations, and other content you upload. By sharing content to the community library, you grant Qorbit Avionics a non-exclusive license to display that content to other authenticated users. You may revoke this by unsharing your content.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Qorbit platform is provided “as is.” Simulation outputs are planning estimates, not guarantees. We are not responsible for launch outcomes, recovery failures, or decisions made based on platform data.
